Good morning! I´m exicted to share this amazing Anti-inflammatory Smoothie Bowl with you. This Smoothie Bowl is packed with Antioxidants so that breakfast is a true health ceremony 🙂 I love it because it not only does wonders to my body, but it also wakes up my senses with it´s distinct taste of ginger.
You could definitely skip both the turmeric and the pepper, but this is where the Anti-flammatory benefits are. Maybe you already know that turmeric is a very strong antioxidant and has super Anti-inflammatory benefits but did you know that by eating Black pepper or cayenne pepper with the turmeric the bio-availability increases drastically. This means that the combination of turmeric and black pepper will improve the absorption of curcumin in your body.
Here´s the recipe for this Amazing Anti-inflammatory Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients:
- 1 Banana
- 150g frozen Mango
- 1 tablespoon Turmeric
- 1-1,5 cm Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon Almond butter
- juice of half a Lemon or Orange
- a dash of freshly ground pepper
- 2 dl. of Almond Milk (or your favorite plant milk)
Suggested topping:
I always use what I have at home, here is what I used in today´s version.
- Mint leaves
- Chia-seeds
- Banana
- Goji berries
- roasted almond flakes
- Raspberries
- blueberries
Step by step
Place all your ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth, and top with your favorite toppings.
